I offer individual and partner training.  Partners do not have to have the same experience, training goals, ect..   I will treat each partner as an individual as far as training is concerned.  Whether you are husband and wife, brother and sister, or just friends, partner training is a great way for two people to support and motivate each other, and there are discounts for partners!  My wife and I have happily trained together for many years!   


I work with athletes at the middle & high school levels, collegiate level, and recreational level.  I focus on developing explosive strength & power which translates to improved athletic performance on the field or court.     


I work with individuals and training partners focusing on each client's individual needs.  Common areas of need include technique correction and improvement, programming for training success, fat loss, and muscle gain. 

The Process

  • Contact me to schedule a free 10-15 minute initial phone conversation to discuss your training experience, time-frame, and your goals.  I will also address any questions or concerns you may have.  Based on our discussion, I will determine what I feel is the appropriate amount of time/number of training sessions needed to accomplish your goals.  This may change depending on our first session together, based on the results of your movement and strength assessment.  I will also go over the cost and various package options with you.    

  • If you decide to train with me, sign up forms will be emailed to you and will need to be completed and returned prior to training.  This will include a medical history/injury history form.  Minors under the age of 18 will need parental consent.

  • Scheduling of training sessions will be done through the member's area of the website (icon on the top right of the menu bar).  There will be an interactive calendar of available dates and times from which you can simply choose, book, and pay for the training session or sessions.  There are individual training sessions available if you just need something simple like a technique evaluation on a particular lift, as well as many package options for longer training periods.  The whole process is very user friendly and easy to navigate.  I update the calendar often so please check back regularly for current available training times.     

  • The first in-person training session will include a movement & strength assessment (this is not the case for one-time training).  

  • I will develop a custom training program based on your prior experience, movement & strength assessment, your time-frame, and your goals.  

  • In each successive in-person training session we will work through your custom training program during which I will assess your training, make adjustments, and monitor your progress to ensure you are on track to hit your goals.

  • Strength training is more than just lifting weights.  Strength training is a science.  I will teach you the science behind what we are doing and why we are doing it.


  • Training and nutrition go hand-in-hand.  Though I do not offer nutrition plans, I will help guide your nutrition so you can get the most out of your training.

  • My ultimate goal is to provide you with all of the necessary knowledge and experience to enable you to be fundamentally sound in all aspects of training, recovery, programming, and nutrition so you have the tools to excel as an athlete or strength training enthusiast.

  • Come dressed and ready to train.  The only things you will need are proper gym clothes, gym shoes (Flat bottom, hard solled lifting shoes are preferable.  If you do not have lifting shoes, flat solled shoes such as Chuck Taylors or wrestling shoes are preferable for training.  Also bring a pair of tennis shoes), a water bottle, and your smartphone for playing music.  That's right, you get to play your music as loud as you want!  Ok maybe not as loud as you want.  You still have to be able to hear me :)
